Chapter Philanthropy & Service

In addition to national partners, collegiate chapters also support local causes through philanthropic fundraising and hands-on service on their campuses and in their local communities.

Local Philanthropy:

As of Spring 2016, Delta Eta is so excited to announce its partnership with Girls Inc.!  Girls Inc. is a national and local organization dedicated to helping girls grow up healthy, educated, and independent.  As a group of collegiate women, we want to ensure that all girls feel confident, safe, and can realize their potential for greatness. We believe in the power of positivity and mentorship as the means to inspire girls to change the world.  With Delta Eta in her corner, every girl should feel empowered to be "strong, smart, and bold." For more information on Girls Inc., please visit their website at and make sure to watch their video "With You in My Corner" below!

Service Opportunities:

Delta Eta encourages our sisters to pursue what they are passionate about in helping the community.  Each semester we expect members to volunteer a minimum of 6 service hours, and our sisters constantly go above and beyond! We organize service opportunities for our women to grow closer to each other while promoting the progress of mankind (one of our organization's fundamental values). Additionally, our women are equipped with the skills to go out into the local community and pursue volunteer opportunities on their own! In the fall of 2015, Delta Eta served over 1,563 hours in just one semester! Just imagine the impact that our women have on our campus, our local community, and the world!

Habitat for Humanity Builds and the Habitat ReStore:

Our chapter weekly goes to the local Nashville Habitat ReStore and helps with multiple Habitat Builds through the year. At ReStore sisters help run the store such as arranging merchandise and moving inventory and other tasks to help the workers. While helping on Builds we get our hand's dirty building houses for families in need in our community.
